Heroes Hole
We’re honored to dedicate our first Heroes Golf Hole to Rory C. Dahill. A valued son, brother, uncle, and friend, Rory’s life was marked by love, service, and dedication. Raised in NYC, his commitment to his community resonated through his nine-year service as an NYPD officer. Rory was known for his love for the Yankees, simple foods like pizza and grilled cheese, and Batman movies. Most importantly, he treasured spending time with his family. In every aspect, Rory C. Dahill lived a life of profound love and dedication, making him our hero for this event.
The 18th hole, known as the Heroes Hole, stands as a solemn tribute to the brave first responders we have lost to suicide. This tribute is a reminder of the mental health challenges faced by these courageous individuals and the importance of supporting their memory. Nestled at the culmination of the course, this hole serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by these individuals. The Heroes Hole is adorned with pictures of the individual and symbols representing various first responder roles, including firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and more. Each step toward the green is a profound journey of remembrance, with serene landscaping and thoughtful details designed to honor their memory. Players will be enveloped in a reflective atmosphere, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature and the solemnity of the tribute. The pictures narrate the story of those who served our communities with unwavering dedication and courage. As you approach the final putt, take a moment to honor the strength, courage, and resilience of these heroes who have left us too soon. Completing the Heroes Hole is more than just finishing a hole of golf—it's a unique opportunity to pay homage to the lives and legacies of our fallen first responders."
